COVID GUIDELINES:

Following the guidance from the CDC Oregon recommendations, we have decided to proceed as follows:

Dear Dharma Friends,

The Board of Directors at PIMC continues to monitor the local reports of COVID in the Portland area, and has determined we need to ask everyone to wear masks at our Sunday gatherings.

 * Beginning Sunday, May 28, we are asking everyone to wear masks in the building for our meditation gathering.

 * Also, we will not be gathering afterward for snacks and social hour in the Living Room.

We plan to continue the online broadcasts to Zoom and Facebook from the Center.

We will continue to monitor the local reports from the Oregon Health Authority and keep you posted on any other changes.

Thank you for taking care of yourself and for taking care of others.

 -The PIMC Board of Directors

HARD-OF-HEARING ACCESS:

Easy-to-use hearing assistance devices are available. These are plugged into the PIMC sound system. To make use of one, simply take one from the rack at the back of the Dharma Hall, by the double entrance doors.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS:

PIMC is now wheelchair accessible. We have not figured out all the details for access yet, but beginning now it is possible to enter the Dharma Hall and Living Room by wheelchair. We also have two ADA compliant restrooms located in the front hallway.

For gatherings for now, please inform PIMC Manager Gregory Maloof of your intention (email HERE) and we will be certain to have the gate open.

Very soon there will be more detailed instructions about how to access the ramps.
