This eight-session class will be rooted in the classic book What the Buddha Taught by Walpola Rahula.
Each session will deal with one of the central teachings of the Buddhist path. The readings will be supplemented by contemplation and study questions that Robert will provide.
The study will be in support of your daily meditation practice. Much of the book will be understood at depth only when accompanied by the direct experience of every day practice.
This is an opportunity to really understand the Buddha’s teachings and to know how to integrate them into the practice of daily life.
Each class will begin with thirty minutes of meditation followed by a dharma talk by Robert expanding upon the contents of book. After this there will be group discussion, sharing and the opportunity to ask questions.
