Welcome to all identifying as female, non-binary, or gender fluid.
We will reflect, share and inspire each other on the path to liberation. This gathering will occur online, and may be offered additionally in person by Oct. 15th depending on the reopening of the center.
We are committed to making the exploration of practices and teachings of the Buddha relevant and accessible in today’s world. It is important to welcome people of every age, ethnicity, cultural heritage and religious background, socio-economic group, ability, sexual orientation and gender identity. In this way, we aspire to follow in the footsteps of the Buddha, who offered his teachings of awakening and freedom freely to everyone without exception.
What has been inspiring you lately in your readings and your life? We will share our love for the Dharma through readings by women in Buddhism that have moved us. Each person will have a chance to talk and share for 5 or so minutes (if moved to do so). This group will be limited at first to 15 people who register for the four Fridays. The format will be a talking stick style circle, each sharing, others listening deeply with mindfulness without giving opinions or feedback. Please bring a special object to share with the circle.
DATES: Fridays (Sept. 17th, Oct. 15th, Nov. 19th, Dec. 17th)
SUGGESTED DONATION: $50 (for all four sessions). No one turned away for lack of funds. There is a scholarship option payment available allowing you to pay what you can.
NOTE: The number of partcipants is capped at 15. If more than 15 sign up, there will be a waiting list. It is a limited group of 16 and then a waiting list
(The Zoom link will be provided after you register)
