Maintaining Community and Staying Connected in a Time of Separation

Primary tabs

As we all hunker down and adapt to the new normal of social distancing and proactive self-isolation in the age of coronavirus, the PIMC teachers and staff are committed to maintaining and encouraging community connection via the internet, something that humanity did not have access to in previous pandemics.

Even though we cannot meet in-person for the time being, we remain a community.

HELPING THOSE IN NEED

Part of being in community, is doing whatever we can to be responsive to those in need. For those of you who are/become house-bound, either due to virus symptoms or because of other pre-existing conditions, we will work to see if we can mobilize a community effort to make sure vulnerable people have access to food and other necessities. DHARMA CONSULTS CONTINUE TO BE AVAILABLE

Robert and the Teachers Council are committed to continuing to provide free, 30-minute Dharma Consults. They want to make sure, in this strange and difficult time, sangha participants can continue to access spiritual guidance as needed, especially guidance on starting and pursuing a regular, personal meditation practice. Dharma Consults will be offered exclusively by phone for now.

To arrange for a Dharma Consult, please contact:

Avi  (Click    HERE)

NOTE: Because Dharma Consults are subject to teacher availability, it could take several days to a week before you are actually able to talk with a PIMC teacher. Please be patient.
