Please join Doyle for the monthly, live-streamed NonViolent Communication practice group on Tues., Oct. 13, 2020.
NOTE: In response to the social distancing mandates to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus, PIMC has ceased all on-site gatherings for now. But, PIMC is still a community even when we cannot physically gather together. This experiment with a live-streamed version of Doyle's NVC Practice Group is yet another way the PIMC Teachers Council is working to maintain community continuity using the internet.
Doyle will be leading the practice session.
This group is open to anyone who has had a minimum of 16 hours of foundation-level training. (In other words, you know the difference between a feeling vs. a thought, a need vs. a strategy, an observation vs. a judgment, or a request vs. a demand...REALLY know the difference.) You also know the 2 major parts of NVC and you know the Empathy process.
DATE/TIME: Tues., Oct. 13, 7-8:30pm
LOCATION: Live-Stream (The Live-Stream link will be given when you register)
FOR MORE INFORMATION: Contact Doyle at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions.
SUGGESTED DONATION: $20 per person per session (No one is ever turned away due to lack of funds.)
TO REGISTER: Please use this link: https://secure.acceptiva.com/?cst=MPdcHM
NOTE: Registration is required.
The practice sessions will be just that - practice, practice and more practice, with minimal teaching content. We will not go over basic material in order to leave the maximum amount of time for (you guessed it)...practice.
If you are not sure about any of the concepts mentioned above, please wait until you can get some foundational training and then, by all means, join us for community, connection, fun, deepening your skills and more.
Also, anyone who has attended any of the NVC trainings offered by Doyle is invited (and encouraged) to attend.
Below are the NVC Practice Group dates for the rest of 2020 (all are on the 2nd Tuesday of the month):
