Plan on a day of focused heart and concentration meditations to deepen your personal practice, or help kick start a new daily one.

A day of traditional and contemporary contemplative and relational practices that can heal, recharge and replenish our hearts in the midst of these sometimes chaotic and crazy lives that we live.

Treat yourself to a relaxed day without the usual distractions, a chance to set aside all other concerns and take refuge in The Buddha, The Dharma, and our sangha. The majority of the time will be walking and sitting, and there will also be short Dharma teachings as well.

The 1st Saturday Retreat series is a perfect opportunity to jump start or reinvigorate your daily practice, connect with community members, and gain a comfortable introduction to the power of noble silence.


PLEASE NOTE: Although these retreats are great for beginning students, they are not designed as introductions to meditation. Some basic meditation experience is required to get the most out of this experience.

There will be a 45-minute silent lunch. Please bring food and/or drink to share (and please bring a clear listing of ingredients for your prepared dishes, so our friends with diet restrictions can easily take care of themselves). PIMC will provide tea and coffee.
