Monthly NonViolent Communication (NVC) Practice Group at PIMC (Mon. Mar. 9, 2020)

Primary tabs

On Monday, Mar. 9, 2020, we will gather once more for our monthly NonViolent Communication practice group in the PIMC Living Room. The meeting will go from 7pm to 9:15pm.

Doyle will be leading the practice session.

This group is open to anyone who has had a minimum of 16 hours of foundation-level training. (In other words, you know the difference between a feeling vs. a thought, a need vs. a strategy, an observation vs. a judgment, or a request vs. a demand...REALLY know the difference.) You also know the 2 major parts of NVC and you know the Empathy process.

DATE/TIME:  Mon., Mar. 9, 7-9:15pm

LOCATION: PIMC Living Room: Portland Insight Meditation Community, 6536 SE Duke Street, Portland, OR 97206

FOR MORE INFORMATION: Contact Doyle at if you have questions.

SUGGESTED DONATION: $20 per person per session (No one is ever turned away due to lack of funds.)

TO REGISTER: Please use this link:

NOTE: Registration is required.

The practice sessions will be just that - practice, practice and more practice, with minimal teaching content. We will not go over basic material in order to leave the maximum amount of time for (you guessed it)...practice.

If you are not sure about any of the concepts mentioned above, please wait until you can get some foundational training and then, by all means, join us for community, connection, fun, deepening your skills and more.

Also, anyone who has attended any of the NVC trainings offered by Doyle is invited (and encouraged) to attend.

We have scheduled practice sessions for the first six months of 2020. They are:

* Tues. Apr. 14
* Tues. May 12
* Tues. June 9
