WELCOME BACK!! Returning Visiting Teacher Frank Leder (Sat., 12/14/19 and Sun., 12/15/19)

PIMC is happy to welcome back Frank Leder, Robert's Dharma brother and fellow Ruth Denison student, for a weekend of programs the weekend of Dec. 14. This will be Frank's fifth annual visit to PIMC.

Buddhist Movie Night at PIMC: "Late Spring" (Sat., 12/21/19, 6:30pm)

Please join us for another edition of Buddhist Movie Night at Portland Insight Meditation Community (PIMC). We'll be watching "Late Spring" on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019.  The screening will begin at 6:30pm.

This is a chance to come together as a community, enjoy Buddhist/mindfulness-themed cinema, and discuss how the material relates to our understanding of the Buddha and the Dharma.

Robert Is Back!!!!!

Robert Beatty, PIMC's founder and guiding teacher, had surgery on Mon. Nov. 11, 2019 and has been on extended leave during his recovery.

Robert is back!!! He on a light work schedule as he continues to build back his strength.

Buddhist Movie Night at PIMC: "A Man Escaped" (Sat., 11/16/19, 6:30pm)

New ETD Event: Making Brown Bag Lunches for Laurelwood Shelter (Fri., 11/22/19)

PIMC is scheduled to provide a brown bag meal for Laurelwood Shelter – Transition Project’s newest adult shelter - whose primary focus is homeless adults over the age of 55. The date is Friday, November 22, 2019.

We ask you to volunteer in this effort to share resources with those less fortunate.
