Buddhist Psychology, The Practices of Freedom, with Robert Beatty

Buddhist Psychology is the foundation upon which all Dharma practice and realization stands. By understanding these fundamental teachings of the Buddha you will be more skillful in the efforts you make in meditation and your journey along the Eightfold Path.

We will be reading The Wise Heart, a modern classic by Jack Kornfield. The following is from the book.

Dzogchen Buddhist Teachings With Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche

The Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche is a holder of the complete Buddhist Nyingma lineage— Kama, Terma, and Dzogchen teachings. He is an expert in all the schools of Buddhism, and is a master of Dzogchen, the most advanced tradition of meditation practice in Tibetan Buddhism.

Eightfold Path Class with Christine Gieben & Gregory Maloof

Please join us this October-November for our 3rd annual Eightfold Path class. This will be an 8-week class in which we will explore each fold of the path and its application to daily life through readings, Dharma talks, group discussion, weekly reflections, and group meditation. The class will be held on Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm, beginning October 4th. The class dates are: 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/4 (Saturday half-day session from 9am to about 1pm), 11/8, 11/15, and 11/29.
